'Nestled in the northern foot of Mount Rokko, in the KeiHanShin metropolitan region (comprising of Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe), Arima Onsen is one of the oldest dating Onsen in Japan. Its name is mentioned in the Nihon Shoki (日本書紀), which is sometimes translated as The Chronicles of Japan and is the second-oldest book of classical Japanese history.’
