Bathing in Japanese Culture, at a Castle in Kent!
On Sunday 29th August, we were excited to be attending our first event since the Covid pandemic at the beautiful Chiddingstone Castle in Kent.
The building is a Grade II historic Tudor estate modelled after a medieval castle, is home to a world-renowned collection of Japanese artefacts, and is surrounded by 35 acres of picturesque informal grounds.
Chiddingstone castle made a magic and memorable setting for the sharing of Japanese culture, crafts and history; from kimonos, the tea ceremony, and traditional dance; to calligraphy, taiko drums, and Japanese archery; to of course, us! Japanese Onsen, all manner of Japanese bathing products and Japanese bath salts.
This time we had on display our popular range of Onsen bath salts, based on Japanese hot springs, as well as our newly extended range of Japanese Bath bombs that include Japanese Forest bathing, Yuzu Lemon, and Rose.
For the first time, we also exhibited our new product, ONSEN Bathtime’s Japanese Seaweed Bath Soak, a mixture of 6 different types of colourful seaweed that bring all the healthy properties of bathing in the ocean to your home bathtub.
It is always a pleasure to interact with our customers at these events and to see new faces. As usual, we would like to share our gratitude with all those who attended and stopped by our stall to say hello and play with the fish!
We hope that you enjoy your bath!
